Undergraduate Housing Contract Cancellation Form

Once the contract commences, a 15-day notice of vacate is required for cancellation due to a move to Non-Institute Housing. For ineligible or withdrawing students, you have 15 days from the effective date of non-eligibility to vacate your housing. For details on cancellation, please refer to the contract cancellation information.

If moving out of the On-Campus Houses or a House Alley, please inform your house officer in charge of room picks.

When moving out, please complete the check-out envelope within 5 (five) days to avoid the $50.00 fine (available at the Housing Office or on-line ).

If you have a campus extension, you need to cancel your telephone service.

Cancellation Charges

For all contracts, if the cancellation is due to academic ineligibility, withdrawal or transfer to another university, there are no cancellation fees. If the cancellation is submitted by the August deadline listed in the license contract there is no cancellation fee. Otherwise, there is a cancellation fee AND a required notification of cancellation. The cancellation fee is $150.00 if the notification is given between the August deadline and commencement date of the fall license contract.  If canceling the license contract after the commencement date, a fee of $300.00.
